Blake Briggs is the Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Services Council (FSC), the peak industry body representing Australia’s superannuation, funds management, financial advice, and investment platform sectors. In his role, he leads the FSC’s policy, advocacy, and industry engagement efforts, helping shape the future of Australia’s financial services landscape.
With extensive experience across government, industry associations, and financial services, Blake has built a career at the intersection of public policy and financial regulation. Prior to becoming CEO, he served as Deputy CEO of the FSC, where he was responsible for policy and advocacy on behalf of the superannuation, funds management, investment platform, and financial advice industries. He has also held senior government and industry affairs roles at Westpac, the NSW Business Chamber, and the Australian Government.
Blake is a recognised voice on retirement incomes, superannuation policy, and financial services reform. He also represents Australia in the Business at OECD Private Pensions Expert Group, contributing to international discussions on retirement and pension policy. Based in Sydney, he brings a deep understanding of the regulatory, economic, and policy challenges shaping the future of financial services in Australia.
